Middle School Dawg Pound

DMS Dawg Pound

The Dawg Pound is the Dixon R-1 School District's before and after school program.  It is open to all K-12 students in the District.  It is available for students in all three buildings.  The hours of operation are 6:55 - 7:55 AM and 3:05 - 5:05 PM on a daily basis M-F on regular school days (exceptions will be early release days, school day cancellations, and other times when announced). 

Dawg Pound will consist of academic tutoring and fun enrichment activities
at all ability levels and interests.

The cost for participation is as follows:
K-5th graders - $5.00 per month
6th-12th graders - annual fee of $25
(Annual fee can be made in payments; students who qualify for free lunches will be free and those who qualify for reduced lunches will pay 50% of the fee)

If interested in participation, be sure to fill out an application and return it to Mrs. Tammy Allen, the DMS Dawg Pound Coordinator.
